Regulatory evidence across markets

None of the 13 markets tracked here holds an imported rule under the name RESVERATROL.

That is a statement about this inventory, not about the law: no imported rule is not evidence that a substance is permitted. A rule may exist under a different name, under a CAS or EC number this glossary entry does not carry, or in a dataset not yet imported.

Resveratrol

Resveratrol is a plant polyphenol found in high concentrations in red grapes that has been proposed as a treatment for hyperlipidemia and to prevent fatty liver, diabetes, atherosclerosis and aging. Resveratrol use has been associated with rare instances of serum enzyme elevations during therapy but has not been convincingly linked to episodes of clinically apparent liver injury. — LiverTox
