About EU fragrance allergens
The 26 fragrance allergens listed here are substances identified as common sensitisers. EU Cosmetics Regulation 1223/2009 requires them to be declared by name in the ingredient list when their concentration exceeds defined thresholds.
Threshold limits: above 0.001% in leave-on products (creams, lotions, perfumes) and above 0.01% in rinse-off products (shampoos, shower gels, soaps).
Each allergen page links to its CosIng annex record when available, showing its regulatory context within Annex III restricted substances.
