How the checker works

Each item is matched against EU annex names and identifiers, the CosIng inventory, the official 2025 EU INCI glossary, linked country identities, and standalone official country records. Standalone name matches require a strong normalized-name boundary; CAS and EC matches use exact extracted identifiers.

Results are an evidence triage tool, not a compliance certificate. Open every matching record, confirm product type, concentration, effective date and source scope, and complete the official-source workflow for markets with no local match.
