sr-(Oligopeptide-91 Clostridium Botulinum Polypeptide-1) is a single chain recombinant peptide, produced by fermentation in E. coli. The starting gene is synthesized by the fusion of the gene from Oligopeptide-91 (synthetic peptide containing 21 amino acids consisting of arginine, glutamic acid, glutamine, lysine, proline, serine, threonine, tryptophan and valine) and sr-Clostridium Botulinum Polypeptide-1. The fusion peptide contains 468 amino acids which may contain disulfide bonds and/or glycosylation, and consists of the proper sequence of the 20 standard amino acids.
