How to search and read records
This guide explains where to click, which page to use, and what the main data fields mean.
When to use search
Use search when you know an INCI name, chemical name, CAS number, EC number or part of the record text.
When to use annex pages
Use annex pages when you want the regulatory list first, for example prohibited substances, restrictions, preservatives, colorants or UV filters.
When to use identifiers
CAS and EC pages are useful when the same identifier appears in multiple records and you want to compare them quickly.
What the main fields mean
CAS / EC
Chemical identifiers that help you find related records across annexes and grouped pages.
